Welcome to R&D INKED! We are excited to have you and we hope you will fall in love with our art just as much as we have. Please take the time to read through this page so that you understand how things work here.
We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for prejudice, racial, hate speech, bullying etc. We strive to be inclusive of every single person. We want everyone to be able to share their creations and photos of their family and friends. We want this environment to be a safe haven for everyone who decides to be with us. Those of you who are unable to follow these rules and violate this part of our policy will be immediately removed from the group and banned. Please be kind to others.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
DISCLAIMER: Colours will look different on different screens and devices. If at any time you find that a pattern isn’t seamless or has any issues please make sure you ask for it to be fixed prior to using the pattern/design. We are not responsible for any product made with an error. We are human and we can miss things and make mistakes so please double check prior to making any products.
How can the files be used
PROHIBITED ACTIONS INCLUDE: Selling, sharing, distributing the patterns in their original format, or creating a seamless design with the png for the purpose of reselling. Please do not use these on POD sites.
FOR PERSONAL USE: You ARE allowed to use our patterns for any personal projects including physical or printed products.
Basic Commercial License for up to 200 uses/prints is INCLUDED in all listings for those who will be printing fabric. Anything over 200 you will need to purchase a commercial license.
If you are a bamboo shop you must purchase a license to use this to be printed on bamboo items.
For those who purchase to sell DTF you are entitled to sell up to 100 units per design before needing a license to produce more.
For those who purchase PNG’s, you may use them to make personal projects, cake toppers, and other creations but you are NOT allowed to use the Pngs to make seamless designs for resale.
1. Store Credit, Return Policies
Due to it being a digital product, we do not offer refunds. If you purchase the same one twice we will offer store credit of another design that is equal in price.
2. Pricing: payment options- accuracy of billing and account information, paypal, credit/debit and shipping.
2.2 Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
You, as the buyer, must agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all of the purchases made in the store. You must promptly update your account and any other information, including your email address, and credit card numbers, and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions.
2.3 PayPal
At checkout we offer PayPal. Please read through their user agreement, privacy policy and acceptance policy. For any issues with your PayPal account you will need to contact PayPal to help resolve these issues. R&D INKED does not have access to your PayPal account or any information on it. It is stored securely within PayPal’s servers.

2.4 Stripe
Stripe is another payment platform that allows our customers to pay for purchases with credit cards or debit credits. It allows the addition of Visa, Mastercard (credit and debit), Maestro, American Express, JCB, Alipay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Microsoft Pay, Masterpass by Mastercard, Visa Checkout and more! It allows for payment in over 135 currencies. Please ensure that you are following all privacy and user agreements within each service that you choose. We are not liable for anything that happens via those services, and we do not store any of your information or have access to this information. 2.5 Afterpay
Afterpay is another payment service that works as a “ buy now, pay later” buying option. This allows you to buy whatever you would like on the site with afterpay and we as SCD gets paid and you pay afterpay over 6 weeks interest free. Please ensure that you are following all privacy and user agreements within each service that you choose. We are not liable for anything that happens via those services, and we do not store any of your information or have access to this information. 2.6 Shipping or sending of digital goods
When purchasing any of the files you will either be sent a download link directly from the site or be given a document with a link to a drive. You are NOT to share any links with people who have not bought the file themselves. If you have been caught doing this, you will be removed from the group and banned from purchasing.
3. Privacy and Confidentiality
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we need to collect some personal information. This includes your name, address and email address. Upon browsing the store, the website automatically sends us your IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operation system. We store this information until you deactivate your account, and then your information is destroyed and we no longer have access to it.
3.1 Consent
Providing us with your personal information to complete your transaction, verify your credit or payment information, place an order, arrange for a delivery, or return a purchase, will be considered your express consent to our collection of that information. If we ask for your personal information for any other reason, for example: marketing, we will message you directly for your consent and provide you with the opportunity to decline. 3.2 Disclosure
R&D Inked will disclose your personal information if the law requires us to, or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Squarespace
R&D Inked Store is hosted by Squarespace. They provide us with the online ecommerce platform that allows us to offer our products to you. All of your data is stored through SquareSpace’s data storage, database and the SquareSpace application. They will be storing your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment through SquareSpace: If you choose to use the direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, SquareSpace will then store your credit card data. This is completely encrypted
through the payment card industry data security standard. Your purchase transaction data is only stored for however long it takes for you to complete your purchase on the website. Once your transaction is complete, your credit card data is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards by the PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI security standards council. These include brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help to ensure that there is a secure handling of your credit card information by our store and its service providers. If you would like to know more about this, please read through SqaureSpace’s Terms of Service and Privacy and Confidentiality statement on their website.
3.4 Third-Party Services
Any of the third-party providers that we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to complete your purchases. This allows them to perform the services they need to provide to us. Also, these third-party payment gateways and processors have their own privacy policies in respect to your information. Please ensure you are reading their policies to better understand how your information is being handled. Some of these providers will be in a different jurisdiction or country than where R&D Inked is located. Which means, if you choose to use these providers then your information is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction of where that provider is located. Please note: once you leave our website or are redirected to the third-party website, you are no longer protected by the privacy policy or terms and conditions on our website.
3.5 Security
To help protect your information, we will take reasonable precautions and follow all industry standards to ensure that your information is safe. This includes: not losing, misusing, accessing, disclosing, altering or destroying your information. If you do provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted using secure socket layer technology and stored with AES-256 encryption. Please note: not all information is 100% secure, but we promise to follow the PCI-DSS requirements and implement all industry standards where needed.
3.6 Cookies
SquareSpace uses cookies to help store information about your session, the number of visits, and the contents of your cart. The shop has a password that you can obtain from FaceBook, so the cookies will determine if you have access to the website. 4. Age of Consent
By using this website, you represent that you are the age of majority in your country. Alternatively, if you are using this website and you are not the age of majority, we will assume you have received consent from a parent or guardian to access and purchase from this website.
5. Changes to Terms and Conditions
R&D Inked reserves the right, at any time, to modify the Terms and Conditions and prices; or discontinue service without notice. We are not liable to you or any third-party for modification of Terms and Conditions, prices changes, suspension or discontinuation of service.
6. Indemnification
By using our website, you agree to indemnify R&D Inked and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees from any claim or demand, including: reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms and Conditions, the governing documents of the aforementioned parties, your violation of any law, or the rights of a third-party.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any other agreements whereby we provide you service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
8. Severability
In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Furthermore, the unenforceable portion will be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions. Such a determination shall not affect the validity and enforce ability of any other remaining provisions.
9. Prohibited Uses
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in the Terms and Conditions, you are prohibited from using the website or its content:

(b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts;
